                                       Cafe Macadamia

  Cafe Macadamia - Great sandwiches!! Located directly on Lake Arenal with fantastic view.  Coffee Shop, Fruit Smoothies Beer & Sodas.  Also fresh homemade pastries! I highly recommend the vegetable sandwich for lunch with a fruit drink.  Also don't forget the macadamia nut cookies.

                                       Volcano Lodge

     Volcano Lodge - Located in La Fortuna directly at the foot of Arenal Volcano.  Great food and views of erupting Arenal Volcano.  Also great vegetarian dishes. I highly recommend the Grilled Snook, and its real snook!  Great bar, and don't be surprised if they ask you for your favorite drink recipe. They are always looking for another good mixed drink to add to their offering. Located South of Nuevo Arenal and before La Fortuna.

                               Moya's 

 Located downtown Nuevo Arenal beside the video rental store.  Excellent pizza and sandwiches.  Also beer and wines. I highly recommend the margarita pizza.  Also great local beers. Reservations usually not needed and they speak English.

 Great lake view.  Excellent Pizza and sandwiches.  Also has Yoga, meditation programs, and massages.  I highly recommend the salads.  Great local beers and deserts.
